Weekly Averages

would anyone else like their additional games adding to the averages? Personally I would, as the last 2 weeks my first games have been 50+ below my 2nd, 3rd & 4th.

I can't really add the extra games as I don't have the scores for them, and I don't think Mark does either. Plus its easier just to keep it as the main 3, because everyone plays those.

I think the question should be:

Who wants the scores from the Halloween bowling to be added to their averages?

I wasn't sure whether to add them at first because of the fancy, but people seemed to bowl well. So should I add them?

I think we should keep it as just the first 3 games that we record as it then allows people to play around and try new things with any additional games.

Halloween scores I don't mind either way as even though i bowled some near enough blind I think I still maintained my average

Everyone plays the first 3 games so we'll have a set of scores for everyone, and it will also keep the averages on a levelish playing field.

I don't mind the halloween scores going up - just so long as nobody notices my middle game dip (its was only small )

ok - i accept that.

but a yes to the halloween scores. i went from 147 in the first game without make-up and wig to 200+ in both games!

Would it be possible to also show additional stats such as highest game, highest series, etc?

How do you want it to be done? Highest each week... Highest so far this season... Both.....
If someone wants to remind me how the handcaps are worked out, I'll add a column to the weekly scores table as well

it would be good if you could note down the highest game of the season for each person.

the handicaps are worked out as follows:

(target score - average) * 0.667

the target score is normally something like 200, 210, 220. i dont know what you guys use.

Already done it mate. Try hovering over your name in the weekly scores

Ahh cool. Are you sure that its only 2 3rds though? seems a bit low.

I like it. Very smart Marcus. See me and Mark are tied on 243 for high game so far. If only I had known that these would not be used for tournements I wouldn't have sandbagged the first week!

Handicaps are unique to which ever league you bowl in. there are no rite or wrong. It just depends on what you wana do and make it universal in that league.
